About My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is a Japanese anime based on the manga of the same name which is written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. Set in a world where superpowers (or quirks) are commonplace, it tells the story of Izuku Midoriya, a previously quirkless boy, as he learns to control his new powers and triumph over the forces of evil with help from his friends, while ultimately working to become the world's greatest hero!
