Hailed as a huge success by audiences and critics, directed by Matt Reeves, "The Batman" shows billionaire Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) at the start of his career, serving only two years as the vigilante Batman. With Lieutenant James Gordon of the Gotham City Police Department as a great ally, fighting thugs and gangsters, Batman faces the crazy and enigmatic Riddler (Paul Dano) and the dangerous Penguin (Colin Farrell), in addition to crossing paths with the mysterious Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz) which leads her on a journey to become one of the world's greatest detectives, uncovering secrets and uncovering clues.

With his crime-fighting black tactical suit on, Gotham City's protective masked hero uses his large, bat-like figure to strike fear into criminals. Using his training and numerous technological gadgets, he also relies on his intelligence and wit to unravel mysterious clues left behind by a fearsome nemesis known as the Riddler, who challenges the hero with a note that reads "Have not a Clue? Let's play a game just me and you...''. In another version, with his quick wit, the protective masked hero of Gotham City thoughtfully holds his mask, revealing his true identity as billionaire Bruce Wayne, he seeks to solve the villain's riddles.
