With its large, expressive blue eyes and a smile filled with sweetness, the small and charming visitor from another world holds a pot of flowers in his left hand, something special for him as an alien botanist, while he gestures with his big fingers with his right hand, using his telepathic abilities to revive the flowers like in the scene from the film that made him loved and known all over the world.

Directed by Steven Spielberg, 1982's 'ET the Extra-Terrestrial' was the highest-grossing film in cinema history for eleven years. The plot features a charismatic, short, sturdy alien with short legs, long arms, and a giant head, who receives the nickname ET when he befriends a ten-year-old boy named Elliott. ET was part of an expedition by a group of extraterrestrial botanists, who secretly visited Earth to collect specimens in a California forest, but accidentally ends up being left behind by his fleeing colleagues in their spaceship, being exiled on the planet as a result. Lost, he is found by Elliot, a boy who finds him hiding in his tool shed. They both create a great friendship, and Elliot begins to protect him in every way possible, to prevent him from being captured and turned into a test subject and to help him contact his species and return on his planet.
