In Contra, the evil organization Red Falcon has established a base in the Amazon jungle with the goal of wiping out humanity. Two commandos, Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, from the Contra unit of the Earth Marine Corp (a group of soldiers elite guerrilla forces) are sent into the jungle to destroy enemy forces and discover the true nature of the alien entity controlling them.
