Larry Joe Bird, czasami nazywany „Larry Legend” lub „Gold Hand”, to amerykański koszykarz, trener i dyrektor, urodzony 7 grudnia 1956 roku w West Baden Springs w stanie Indiana.
Uznany za jednego z najlepszych graczy NBA pięćdziesiątej rocznicy istnienia ligi według głosowania przeprowadzonego w 1996 r., jego rywalizacja z Magicem Johnsonem była jednym z czynników odrodzenia NBA, które trwało następnie wraz z pojawieniem się Michaela Jordana.
Larry Bird został trzykrotnie wyróżniony nagrodą NBA Most Valuable Player Award, a dwukrotnie NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. W 1998 roku został wprowadzony do Basketball Hall of Fame.
